 the position is excellent in the middle of Barcelona near the cathedral
  poor bar facilities, car parking is off site whcih is not clear from the description would be more accurate to say their is no parking difficult approach by car especially for non spanish speaker

 Right in the centre of the Gothic district in Barcelona, three minutes from the cathedral.
  If you arrive during after 11 hrs there is no way that you can get to the hotel with your car. You'll have to take the closest garage and walk there (no help with luggage provided) - but it is still worth it.

 As a base of operations this was ideal.
  The room was very small, but as I was only using it as a base that was never a problem. The back alley that the window opened onto was a little noisy late at night, but what does one expect in the middle of Barcelona?!
