With 39 comfortably furnished rooms, our hotel has been awarded 4 stars. For your convenience our spacious hotel has its own car park and a lift. Our friendly room service team will be happy to provide you with a snack or a tasty meal at all times. Each spacious room has a television and radio. The Greenwoods Hotel Spa & Retreat is located in the rural village of Stock, which dates back to pre-Roman times when the village was a narrow track cutting through the great forest. Whilst the hotel is situated amongst stunning countryside in the heart of Essex, the bustling town of Chelmsford is within an easily accessible distance of five miles.
The hotel boasts 39 beautifully designed bedrooms including 5 Premier Rooms equipped with Jacuzzi baths and antique double beds. All have luxurious soft furnishings, marbled bathrooms, hospitality kits, ironing facilities and superb views.
Our locally reputed restaurant enables you to experience the continuing resurgence of fine but relaxed dining in a convivial atmosphere. Our licensed bar has a comprehensive list of wines, spirits and single malt whiskies available on request.
