With 59 comfortably furnished rooms, the hotel has been awarded 4 stars. Plenty of parking is provided for our guests as well as a lift to the upper floors. Please contact the hotel's helpful room service staff for any extra requirements that you may have whilst staying in the hotel. Park your car safely in the hotel's secure parking lot. You can also reserve well appointed non-smoking rooms in this hotel (subject to availability). Many of the 59 rooms have a balcony and all the well appointed rooms have a private bathroom. The hotel provides a safety deposit box for the use of its guests. Business and leisure travellers for example appreciate the desk, telephone and internet access in each of our rooms. Escape the hustle and bustle of city life and unwind in our massage area. A wide range of relaxing treatments awaits you. Bathrobes provided.

Located in the well-known city of Montreux at Lake Geneva, the Grand Hotel Excelsior du Lac is truly a haven of peace. This Victorian style hotel was built in 1907 and is directly situated at the lake, at the Quai des Fleurs. The interior reflects the grandeur of the exterior – a wonderful place where you can find antique collections and original Art Deco stained glass.
Our spacious rooms and suites, all facing Lake Geneva and the wonderful panorama of the Alps, provide balcony or terrace with lake view and are equipped with free Internet access through the TV, computer plug and free entertainment TV channels with a selection of 50 movies per month.
A few free parking places are available for our guests in front of the hotel but since they are free, we can't reserve them.
There are many other public places on the same street, but the maximum parking time is limited to 3 hours with a blue parking disk to get from the authorities. We also sell cards for parking 1/2 day CHF 5.- and all day CHF 10.-
Our swimming-pool will be closed from 21st March to 5 April 2011. In the meantime, the swimming-pool of the Royal Plaza will welcome you with pleasure.
