The Gold Inn Angleterre Hotel lies in the historic centre of the city, close to Checkpoint Charlie and not far from Gendarmenmarkt square. Its convenient location, with direct links to the underground train system, makes it an ideal starting point from which to explore Berlin.

Good location just next to subway station. Staff speak good english.

This hotel was in one word fantastic, from the hotel it was very easy to get everywhere throughout Berlin. The Hotel was very very clean and the personel members were very very kind to help us if we needed something. Many Hotels can take this as an example. We will surely come back in this hotel again wenn we make another visit to Berlin.
 
This is not an negative argument but we expected after a long walk in Berlin to come back to the Hotel and have a few drinks at the Bar of the Hotel. Openings timeschedule could be a little bit earlier.

attentive hotel staff, great location
 
expensive breakfast - but loads of cheap nearby alternatives, from 5 am onwards! Warning: Internet and WLAN are NOT free.

We enjoyed our stay, the location was perfect for our trip
 
Nothing serious to report, the booking for the non-smoking room was lost due to our later than expected arrival.
