Gästehaus am RPTC is located in the South of the Bavarian capital Munich and directly opposite the Rinecker Proton Therapy Center (RPTC). Despite the quiet locations at the Isar Canal, all main attractions in and around Munich are easily reachable. The city centre is only 4 km away and the next metro station (U3 to Thalkirchner Platz/Tierpark) is only 500 m away.
All 102 rooms of different categories provide comfortable bathroom, hairdryer, air condition, safe, satellite TV (4 additional free sky channels), telephone, DSL internet access (LAN), work space with desk, and balcony or terrace. All rooms are non-smoking rooms.
Our restaurant for the breakfast is on the ground floor and offers a large winter garden. Adjacent to the restaurant there is a terrace where you can sit in sunny weather. A comfortable lounge is also located in the restaurant area where you can relax in the evening and conclude your day with a nightcap.
Furthermore, we offer a spacious fitness room with an indoor and outdoor playground for children. The bank of Isar River is nearby and ideal for long walks. The Hellabrunn zoo is an interesting destination for family trips. The zoo of Munich is only 500 m away.

schönes und ruhiges Hotel - ich habe mich sehr wohgefühlt, großräumiges, sauberes und gemütliches Zimmer, kostenloser Internetzugang, Lage zwar etwas außerhalb aber mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln sehr gut zu erreichen, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, sehr freundlicher Empfang

close to the ISAR river with great biergarten in walking distance (in the summer)

located a little bit off where the action is.
only few restaurants around , but with a sub way station in 5-10 minwalking distance the center is close. Although located in a very safe residential area , a woman alone may not like to walk alone at dawn from the subway station to the hotel.

I would absolutely recommend this Hotel. We visited the Zoo in Munch with the children and the place was within walking distance to the Zoo located very nicely at the river. It was also close to public transport so that it was no problem to reach the city center as well. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was good. We requested two adjoining rooms and were able to get rooms that were connected by a door. Overall it was a very pleasant stay with good value for our money.

Very clean and modern hotel in a great location near the river. Perfect for a walk down the river as far as Marien platz or Deutsches Museum if you have a few hours. I particularly liked the breakfast both for the food and clean bright atmosphere of the room. Highly recommended.
I have no negative comments just a point for people with heavy bags that it takes 5 or 10 minutes to walk to the hotel from the station. Better to walk along the river than the road. Despite the switch near the bed no nurse arrived :-)

Very friendly hotel staff and a tasty breakfast. The basement has a children's play room. Very convenient to the zoo and the U-bahn. Plenty of parking.
Very few dinner options within walking distance. When you check-in, ask which tower your room is in so that you do not go up the wrong one.

I chose this hotel because it had the best recommendations on hotel.de. Now I know: It deserves it. I'm happy to had been staying here. If you have time and like to walk: The walk from the hotel along the river Isar to the city is just wonderful. But you can also easily take the underground.

A pleasant stay all around. The room was spacious and clean, the location is easily accessible by public transport but quiet even for guests with a room to the front of the building.
I would recommend to the management/front desk not to allocate ground floor rooms to female guests travelling on their own.

I arrived early in the morning and the staff could provide me a room to rest. The staff has been very supportive (my luggage has been delivered with delay from the airline). A very nide breakfast is served in the morning. I had a room on the front side and it was also very quiet. Very convenient location, garage is available at no cost for the hotel guest, the U-Bahn station Thalkirchen is onle 5 minutes away. If you like to walk to the city center, it is almost 5km to Marienplatz.

Strategic position near city center (only 5 metro station from Marienplatz), very beautiful place with great garden, free internet in the rooms
The first time not to simple find the way for metro station. Breakfast too much expensive (12 €).
