I have stayed in the Hotel already second time, as for Brussels the price is somehow acceptable. I liked the breakfest and competent and friendly staff.
 
The equipment and in particular bathroom are quite clean but simply very old... looks like 1970s. I was surprised that the window could not well protect against the noices from the street, at my last stay it was better.

Very close to Schuman (european institutions, airport bus)
 
Poor sound isolation. Try to avoid rooms next to the lift (on each floor the first room i.e. 101, 201, 301, etc). In addition to the miose coming from the street you will be enternaind by the sounds of the lift and the cheerful guests arriving late back to the hotel.

Very good location, near the administrative buildings. The breakfast was excellent ! Not too expensive.
 
There is to many noise inside the room (heating in the bathroom ; refrigerator) There is no need for a refrigerator. No safe in the room.

comfortable, efficient, generally pleasant
 
Poor sound-proofing already mentioned, made worse by men (taxi drivers, drunks??) talking loudly in the street through the early hours. Why did the staff not tell them to shut up because they had guests trying to sleep.
