The Engel Swiss Quality Hotel is a four-star business and seminar hotel with more than 50 rooms, a bar, restaurants with continental and local specialities and 8 rooms for seminars, banquets and events for up to 500 people. The building also houses a supermarket and a car park (at a charge). Fax and photocopying are available at the reception.
All rooms are new and beautifully designed to provide comfort and ambience, with minibar, safe, kettle, direct-dial telephone, ISDN and hairdryer. The hotel has the latest in security and fire prevention systems and non-smoking rooms are available in all room types.
Guests can choose from 3 different restaurants: the Taverna with local specialities and frequented by locals, the Papillon with Mediterranean dishes and Raphael's serving fine French cuisine in an elegant ambiance.
The hotel is located in the centre of Liestal, with nearby motorway access and within walking distance of the train station with connections to such cities as Zurich, Berne and Lucerne.
