The Design Hotel Stadt Rosenheim is located in Haidhausen, a cosmopolitan quarter in the heart of Munich. Known as a ‘city within the city’, Haidhausen offers great restaurants, bars, shops, lively streets and idyllic alleyways to explore.
Conveniently situated opposite the city’s ‘Ostbahnhof’ (Munich East railway station), the hotel benefits from the full array of Munich’s public transport system, including U-Bahn (subway), tram and bus services, as well as the S-Bahn (suburban rail network) and mainline intercity trains. The main attractions of Munich, such as Marienplatz, Stachus, Maximilianstrasse, the Gasteig arts centre, opera house and state theatres, can all be easily reached within minutes. Munich’s international airport is just 31 minutes by S-Bahn.

Built in 1890, the ‘Wilhelminian-style’ family-owned hotel was meticulously refurbished in 2010, with particular care given to the unique design and individual furnishing of each room. Special emphasis was placed on achieving a stylish mix of traditional and modern design.
The hotel feels like a ‘home away from home’. We offer a healthy breakfast and provide free wireless internet access throughout the building to keep you in touch with home and the world. There are also iPod, iPhone and iPad docking stations available.
