Directly at the Viktualienmarket, in the centre of Munich, Derag Livinghotels has opened its first eco-friendly house in September 2011. The whole construction has been designed in a way which allows the entire energy consumption for heating, cooling and drinking water-warming to be covered by self-generated, renewable energy.
The innovative Derag Livinghotel Campo dei Fiori provides maximum living comfort: modern equipped hotel rooms for short stays and serviced apartments with fully furnished kitchenette for longer stays. The kitchenettes have energy-saving induction hobs, which add to the saving of energy. In order to guarantee our guests a recovering sleep, we equipped every room with an exclusive and very accomodative oil vital bed. The small individual “wellness-oasis”, which is defined by a steam shower in your own bathroom, provides our guests with a special relaxing experience. The modern gym in the hotel provides the surrounding for a physical compensation. Free WiFi and the in-room telephone, which may be used as a mobile including a flatrate into the German landline, complete the services.

Ecological and sustainable living in the Derag Livinghotel Campo dei Fiori at the Viktualienmarket in Munich through innovative technology. The low energy balance of the building is reached by an integrated concept with a list of closely connected measures - from the highly-heat-isolating building envelope with triple glazing of the windows to extensive solar plants on the roof. Even the induction hobs in the kitchenettes add to the saving of energy. Particularly interesting is the water supply of the new domicil. Most important: the heating of the drinking water takes place individually for every room - this saves energy because no warm water provision is needed and the hygiene is optimized. Due to the newest technology the guest does not have to wait more than usual for warm water. With this property Derag Livinghotels has reacted to the growing awareness of the climate protection and the CO² consumption.
