The Claridge Swiss Quality Hotel - one of the oldest hotels in Zurich - was built in 1835, and still conveys the comfortable serenity of an affluent merchant's house. The hotel is set in flowered gardens and located in a very peaceful residential area, close to Zurich's art gallery and main theatre.

All of the spacious rooms have been furnished in the style of the French king Louis XV, with oriental rugs and antiques, a cosy lounge area with pay TV, a desk with business centre (with fax, voicemail, photocopier and various modem sockets), a bathroom with bath or shower, WC, scales, safe, telephone, soundproof double doors with security locks and a fire protection system.

In the new and trendy Orson's restaurant, lounge and bar, Euro-Asian cuisine is served, with 30 wines. The Zuri-Stube serves well-known local specialities from Zurich.
