Artists and celebrities appreciate this unique hotel and its familial atmosphere. The CITYHOTEL MONOPOL is set in the centre of St. Pauli, in the lively, vibrant Reeperbahn entertainment quarter.

In close proximity you will find the Panoptikum, the Erotic Art Museum, the Herbertstrasse, the Dom fair, Millerntor, the landing stages and the harbour. All these attractions are within 5 minutes walking distance. Even the trade fair grounds are accessible by public transport within 10 minutes time.

The restaurant provides 3 new flat screens enabling guests to watch important sport events while enjoying a fresh draught beer. Our hotel is also renowned for its breakfast. From 06:00 a.m. until 11:00 we serve you a copious breakfast buffet including, rolls, jam and fish. The buffet does not leave any wishes unfulfilled and caters for the taste of early risers, night owls, families and business travellers.

Kinda 'nice' hotel on the Reeperbahn, position etc ok, clearly 'floating on its knowability due fact that musicians and writers have spent time there. Check in gentle but altough I pre-sent an e-mail on early arrival no room was available.
 
When I requested to make a reservation for 'a' restaurant asking if the name was known for the one under the Rathaus the answer was 'NO' and that was it. I expect a 'I will check for you Sir and let you know soonest'. Afterwards I checked on my smartphone and had the restaurant in no time including phonenumber. The rooms are small, oldfashioned and no shades for the windows needing either to close the curtains or exposed. Value for money at EUR149 might be a bit overdone here.

The room was very clean and tidy. Breakfast quality is over standard, I like it.
 
Hotel is not very new, lift and lift doors are quiet old. The carpet is in the room, has some marks, looks not very clean.

rooms are small, but modern and clean. stuff is friendly. getting up late is no problem, room still gets cleaned up
 
noise outside the room might wake you up in the morning. location directly on Reeperbahn is kind of noisy too in the night

The hotel was a really good price, perfect location. It was about a 5 minute walk from Landsbrucke where the little boat trips sail out from. Town was about a 10 min taxi ride and it was obviously directly on the Reeperbahn. For us the hotel was exactly as described, pictures were very accurate. The reception were very helpful in helping us book activities and taxi's etc at all hours of the day.
