The room was extremly small; the price was for the room to high; the staff said the room is not noisy. This is only if you do not open the window. If you open the window you hear the aircon from hotel and other restaurants and you smell the bacon. One morning there was no war water. After a call the staff promised they are working on it. However still after more than an hour there was now warm water. There was no excuse from the hotel. They did not give any voucher.

Very close to the city center, the main train station is 5 -8 minutes by foot and the famous Kölner Dom' (Cologne cathedral) is only 2 minutes across the street. Great location for shoping, too - the main shopping isle of Cologne is three minutes away. Great restaurants, even the tradintional 'Früh' Pub is also just around the corner - nice place to stay if your on business or on leisure travel .... very convenient!
You better don't come by car - parking around the area is very difficult and get's expensive during the day. At night there are lots for free parking in the neigborhood, good luck finding an empty spot ....

Good location, quite near to Dom and Hauptbahnhof. Good resturants and bars are within short distances.
The room is a little bit small. Not too many facilities in room. The most important, internet is not free, which is not so good.

we found the hotel and the staff very nice for our needs. clean and quiet. I would return again, except...please see comment below
Unfortunately I have a bad feeling about this hotel because I left my Blackberry in the bathroom and the cleaning staff took it. The hotel staff have been incredibly helpful with calling me to report their progress with looking for it. Unfortunately, the person who found it is not an honest person. I believe that this is problematic for the hotel.

Good hotel in a very competitive spot, small but quiet and comfy room.
I always expect tea and coffee making equipment to be available in the room, also the choice of drinks in minibar is not what you would expect of a 4* hotel. All the rest is good

the hotel was excellent, the room was very clean and there was a lot of space in the room. We had an very nice view on the Dom from our room. The breakfast was very nice, even when you're a vegetarian. The service from the staff was excellent. The location of the hotel is so central that you can walk within 5 minutes and you are at the Dom, shopping arena en different musea. It's a nice hotel to stay if you're visiting Köln.
The air in the room was very hot and the air condition wasn't working very well. The pillows on the bed weren't comfortable and the shower tube was a little bit small.
