war ja erst skeptisch - Hostel 22€ mit Frühstück - besser als viele Hotels - komme auf jeden Fall wieder, alles modern, renoviert, sauber, 2 Stationen bisd Friedrichstr. oder ca. 1300 m vom Oranienburger Tor

ich war im Januar da, es mag durchaus angehen, dass zu wärmerer Jahreszeit in den coolen Innenhöfen auch nachts das Leben brummt

Breakfast was very good.

We had to pay extra for breakfast despite being included in price when booked with a welcome drink. We paid the extra only to find other young guests pilthering food at breakfast in large quantities no doubt for their lunches. No one checked if anyone had paid for breakfast at all, so we if dishonest could have eaten it free. Others may well have done. Very noisy guests returning /sitting outside our window on 1 nigh tin particular of our stay until 3 am. No one seemed to check silence was being observed desite 24 hour reception. Our patched up door jamb made it obvious the room had been broken into at some time which made me nervous during our stay. Luckily nothing happened while we were there.

I didn't get the free welcome drink :( The information about internet access is not sufficient! One had to pay for it 8€/hour...

Absolutely most important feature is that it is DIRECTLY next to both U-Bahn station as well as Tram, so getting around is soo easy!! Staff was friendly and helpful. The bathroom was very nice indeed, quite large and fully equipped to meet the usual standards. In addition to our bedroom, we had an extra room free of charge with a bunk bed and a closet, which we (two persons) could use as 'walk-in closet' :-)

The rooms are pretty dull and uninspiring, to say the least, probably of eastern german heritage'. But hey, if you just stay there for sleeping and bathing, it is OK! The heating broke down, which I guess the hotel cannot be blamed for, except if it was due to poor maintenance. But they can be blamed for their low level of information regarding this problem. However, it seemed that they did work hard to solve the problem - only, that would have been nice to know instead of us going around grumpy all day and night, thinking nothing was being done.

We reserved a doubleroom for a weekend, the room was tidy, the price was good. There are a fridge, a hotplate and a tv in the room. The breakfast was good, not varied, but you can take as many as you want. The U-Bahn is front of the hotel, so easy to get in to the city. The service was polite, we got a welcome drink, thank to reserve it on hotel.de.

Its a bit noisy.

Excellent location for U bahn and tram. Room which was set back from the road was quiet. Beds were clean and well made as was the room. For the price charged it was very reasonable.

The listing indicates that bikes could be hired. When staff were asked about this I was told that they did not have the facility yet, which was annoying, as it was one of the reasons I had chosen the hotel. The temperature of the hot water and heating was just about adequate.

It wasn't clear from the website that the rooms could be shared by people who are not couples. I thought the double rooms all had double beds in them. In fact two people could have easily shared one room. Otherwise it was great.
