A nice, small, low budget hotel. Staff very friendly. In the centre of Mannheim, 5 minutes walk from the main railway station.

The room is not very well soundproof and so I heard for two nights a child crying during the night and neighbours watching TV late in the night. But it was not really a problem as it was never for a long period of time.

Very central location. Plenty of various shops/bars/restaurants in walking distance. Friendly economic location, even though quite basic everything.

Facilities are slightly neglected, which give a certain charm. Lift is noisy, beds are squeaky, but okay. Free WiFi and friendly staff make good for all.

Certainly one of the cheapest places in Mannheim, however, it shows that sometimes it is worth it to invest a bit more,..

Probably the rudest hotel reception staff I have seen in many years,... hotel under construction, no main door, one floor under construction,... room next to an ancient lift, lift is stopped overnight, to protect from the noise, but you have to climb the stairs,...

very convenient for rail station and town centre

not as "customer friendly" as I am used to. e.g paying a deposit for the TV remote ! Long list of rules ! Room cleaning missed !

It was an easy tram ride to the RR station

The outside the window shade was broken and failed to roll down which meant we woke up earlier that anticipated, because the curtains would not close across the window, since the shade was expected to provide a sound/light/ and security barrier. A bit isolated for restaurants/coffee shops and breakfast was too expensive.
