The hotel is a good base next to U6, with central Berlin accessible within 20/25 minutes. Reasonable restaurants available at Alt Tegel.
For its price, the hotel was good, with clean tidy room and shower/toilet. The imncluded breakfast was good with sufficient choice to provide a change each day even though the breakfast items did not change. Staff on reception were friendly and mostly spoke English.
Fresh linen and towels were provided each day. Soap is a combined sachet of douche/shampoo, but soap provided on request.

Hotel is located very close to underground, clean & no smoking.

| We planned to book a hotel close to Tegel airport, could use a taxi to reach the airport (15 euro). Did not expect that to reach Tegel by means of underground + bus could be MUCH longer. Please do not consider this note as negative for hotel description, I suppose that we did not make proper transport research ourselves. |
