This 3-star hotel offers comfortable accommodation and free WLan internet access in a pedestrianised zone in central Bonn, next to Beethoven's birthplace and the historic marketplace.

The main railway station is just 800 metres away from the Central Eschweiler Hotel Am Beethoven Haus, which offers comfortably furnished rooms, a sauna area and a fitness room.

Hotel located very central in Bonn. Free WIFI in the rooms. Kind of "old style". Good breakfast.
 
If you have problems with stairs - this is not the hotel.

The food and cleaning was perfect, all the commodities in place, and the staff very friendly. Service - perfect.

Charming family owned hotel where only little has changed since the 30'ties, except from the computer in the breakfast room, the FREE wireless internet and the credit card terminal. Very good location in the old town and a few minutes walk from central station and the sub-way (U-bahn. Reasonable breakfast, but they could add a bit of vegetables (tomatoes, cucumber etc). Staff speak some English.
 
The hotel has only reserved one room out of two booked, but managed to find a solution. Credit card terminal was not working - so had to pay in cash. Not good smell in the room - could come from old carpet on floor. Shower partly broken. Very small TV.

The hotel is located in the pedestrian maze of the old town and is a bit difficult to find. Make sure you have a good map if walking from the train station. The soundproof windows have to be kept open in hot weather as there is no air conditioning and ventilation is quite poor. Free internet terminal in the breakfast room.
