Nice position for exploring the Aldstadt.
Clearly Nuremberg Messe & the collective of hotel operators are in a Cartel. Burghotel Stammhaus was more reasonably priced at just a little over double the normal tariff. Many others were up to 5 or 6 times normal tariff. Go figure!

2min walk to the Marktplatz, 0,5min walk to the Burg
Wifi not worked, stranger hair in the bathroom, my door was mooving if someone comes into the building, fan of the neighbour room worked during the whole night, and it was really loud in my room especially in the bed area.
Room was directly at the entrance, and i heard all others.

WLAN worked after quite a long registration process, requiring an email address.
Staff friendly and helpful each time.
Despite some issues it was still value for money.
(Single) Mattress most basic, Room dusty in places, Vent in bathroom not working & bathroom layout poor.

Really good access to the inner city and well located for those who like to walk.
Double rooms have generous size and good space to work.
Across the wrong side of town for access to the underground or main station.
No elevator and carpets worn down. Bath room was tight with an over-sized basin that got in the way.

The room has a view over the little park on the south side of the hotel and that is a big plus.
The pictures and descroiption create the impression the hotel is either very close to, or has a view of the castle.
AS a single room, the room size would be ideal, as a double, it is crowded.

overall a good value and the location was superb - great breakfast!
the hotel could use a face lift by replacing the 70's style wood paneling which lined the main stair well and our room...but the positives certainly outweigh
