Location to city centre

Room was right next to hotel generator, extractor or fan and was very noisy. Room was clean-ish bit there appeared to be dried snot on the pillow. There were hairs on the bathroom. The toilet was loose at the bottom and the seat was also loose. The shower leaked heavily so pressure was very poor. Sealant in bathroom dirty. Breakfast was cold and com. pletely self serve so by the time you got yourself a drink or toast and breakfast, one aspect of it was even colder. the toilets by the restaurant were dirty, smelley and had cigarette ash in the sick and butts in the toilet. This is the third time I have stayed in sashas and I was extremely disappointed.

Excellent location.

At dinner we ordered a bottle of red wine. It was actually luke warm. When we complained, the waitress told us this was how they served it and offered to bring ice! Had to create a fuss before they changed it for us. Breakfast was really poor. Lifts weren't working either - had to take stairs to 5th floor.

Location Helpful staff whilst checking in

Shower: Controlling temperature difficult Shower curtain not weighted so effectively moved in towards you whilst showering. Side bath panel loose. One light (above bath) not working. External doors banging throughout the night. Barely slept because of this ! Lift not working on 10th April. Placed my comments in the box at reception and was surprised to see that this was actually open depsite a lock being in place ?

The price was reasonable

The wallpaper was looking ready to be re-done and the window reveals showed signs of water damage. The carpet had a large stain uder the window.

Was able to get a room at a reasonable rate on your website, on the hotel website the price was about £60 more for two nights. The location was ideal for the city centre. We got what we paid for.

The room was supposed to be an executive double, it was the smallest double I had ever seen, could not see the tv from bed as it was on a stand at the end of the bed lower than the level of the bed, the room was made up of two single beds put together and the locks were not put on the bed when put together. They have recently re-grouted the bath and didn't remove the mould before regrouting so you could see this under the new grouting. The curtains were hanging off the rail, therefore unable to close them properly and the people in the next building were clearly able to see into our room. A lot of down and outs and drunks hanging about the hotel inside and outside the front door. Damp smell in the corridors.

Close to bars and clubs if you're going out. Got late check-in til 5pm for an extra £20 which was kinda good.

Room was tiny and had no window. Noticed weird stains on the walls! Staff were a bit rude on occasion especially when we were trying to check out, left us standing there for about 15 minutes while 3 of them dealt with another customer.

Although we expected a standard room as we had booked on an economy basis, we didn't expect the filthy, damp, windowless room that met us on arrival. We asked to be changed into another room which did have a window, but it was cold, the shower didn't work properly and the bathroom was so dirty it made me feel nauseous. We used the leisure facilities (which you had to pay extra for) and left after 5 minutes as the walls were covered in mould and again the dirt was everywhere. This was obviously once a grand hotel but it now needs closing down for a complete refurbishment. We didn't have any food here as breakfast was not included; if it had been we certainly wouldn't have eaten it as I dread to think what the kitchen might be like. The only thing the hotel had going for it was it's central location. We will not ever return!

the hotel staff were not organised they refused to make room service for us on christmas day at 3 in the afternoon because they were too busy preparing for a dinner..... the sheets were too small making it uncomfortable to sleep..... I think is best to downgrade it to a one star hotel
