Located in theLa Macarena district, the Boutique Hotel Alcoba del Rey is housed in a building that was originally an ancient Mudejar palace. The mudejar style (a Spanish-Moorish style) is reflected in the whole building. With only 15 rooms it retains a private and cosy atmosphere and service that is tailored to the guests’ needs. The hotel is in close vicinity of the Alameda de Hércules, the Calle Feria and the river Guadalquivir.

The renovation was completed in December 2004 which ensures that the hotel is equipped with all modern amenities. In the lobby guests can relax in 2 comfortably furnished lounges. The bar and restaurant serve highly recommendable typical Andalusian and Moroccan dishes. The roof terrace provides a stunning view of the park, the Old Town and the church Macarena.

Each of the rooms is named after a famous person from the area - from kings to poets. All rooms, except for one on the ground floor, feature windows outwards or balconies and are very bright. The amenities include internet connection, LCD satellite TV, air-condition / heating, direct dial telephone, safe, various music channels and a bathroom with hair-dryer.
