blow up hall 5050 is an exceptional place. It is a unique interactive art hotel in which the guests participate in the creation of the art. With 22 rooms, a bar, a superb restaurant and an interesting collection of contemporary works of art, this is one of the most intriguing places to stay in Poznan.
There is no reception and no numbers on the hotel’s individually-designed room doors. Guests receive an iPhone to open these. In the lobby is Lozano-Hemmer’s large high-resolution screen that fragments footage of guests into 2400/tiny images reassembling them into one distorted image. On the premises of the hotel a large number of other artworks is exhibited.
blow up hall 5050 is the only place in Poznań and one of the very few in Poland that belongs to the international associations of the most prestigious hotels in the world: Small Luxury Hotels of The World and Tablet Hotels.
During the evening, guests are able to relax in the steam room or simply enjoy a soothing massage. Alternatively, they can step outside the hotel into Stary Browar 5050, an impressive, Best Shopping Centre in the World award-wininng mall with a wide selection of boutiques, cafes ajd restaurants.
