Seven One Seven

The nine rooms in the private canal guesthouse are named after writers and composers. Each room is individually decorated to refelct aspects of its subject. Dickens, Mahler, Liszt, Shakespeare, Tolkien, Van Goethe, Schubert, Picasso and Strawinsky all inspired the delightfully decorated and magical rooms of 717. The hotel collaborated with students from the Amsterdam Fashion Institute to create rooms as though they were being dressed as models. Each of the 61 rooms contains a unique blend of traditional hotel amneties skewed through the lens of various themes including pleats, 80′s, Rembrandt and others.
