For me it has to be the Waldorf Hilton. It appears to have everything going for itself except that it doesn’t yet have me as one of it’s patrons. If, and when it rectifies this sad omission I would take great delight in availing myself of all of the legendary facilities that this establishment has to offer, including the gymnasium and sauna complex, closely followed by the restaurants, so that I could put back all that I had lost with those physical activities. The proximity to theater land is an added bonus which would be on my itinerary…but the downside is that the close proximity of some of the best shops in the country will undoubtedly lead to conflict with my wife, so I will just have to admit defeat and console myself in the bar.

    Hi
I’ve blogged and included the links but a quick try didn’t lead me back to the blog. Hope it works.

There are so many stunning hotels, but after careful thought I would love to choose the Pestana Chelsea Hotel & Spa! This one caught my eye because of its location and of course the “Spa“. I would take my mum along with me and simply relax in the spa for as long as we can on the first day and soak up the hotels ambience. I’m 21 this year and have not yet had the opportunity to experience London, so the next morning I’d really make the most of site seeing and strolling around some of the most famous places to shop. I honestly would make every minute of my stay in the hotel and out count. The food and drinks offered by my chosen hotel sound delectable! The rooms radiant and I love how modern and fresh its described. It would be great to order room service just like you see in the movies! Admiring the beautiful surroundings. Typing this is automatically brings a smile to my face, how lovely it would be to cherish those days and make unforgettable memories with my mum. Looking through the images of the hotel makes me practically speechless and in awe of its finery and class. If it became a reality it really would be living the dream!

I would choose the Millennium hotel in Mayfair. My reason is probably the weirdest reason you will receive but basically I met Jedward at the Mayfair hotel numerous times before they were banned from staying in that hotel. As that hotel is in the same area I would walk past the Millennium hotel to get there. Every time I walked past it I would always look up at it and think it looked like a really nice hotel. It is also in a really nice area and close to all the attractions.

I would love to stay at the The Savoy A Fairmont Managed Hotel as it looks so significant and stands out with its high class service and helpful staff and right in the centre of London so you have everything on your door step or only a cab trip away! Nothing but the best for a great hotel stay!

Hellooo, just wondering if the winner has been announced yet? :)

  • http://www.hawkhurstbooks.co.uk Bill Cooper

According to the Terms and Conditions ‘The winner will be announced on the hotel.info blog on 30th April 2012.’ Where is that blog please if if not this one?

Also it says in the terms and conditions that the winner will be drawn randomly? Whereas above it says ‘The winner will be the person who writes the most creative reasons why their chosen hotel is the best.’I'm a bit concerned that this competition may not be on the level. Please send me the link to where the winner’s details are in the blog.

    • Daniel Peaslee

Thank you for raising this with us, sorry if it is confusing. We have selected all the entries that matched the criteria and then selected the winner at random. There were a number of worthy winners and we thank you very much for your contribution to the competition.

I feel the Reagel Hotel in New Hampshire is one of the best hotel I ever went to. It has everything going for itself except that it doesn’t yet have me as one of it’s patrons. If, and when it rectifies this sad omission I would take great delight in availing myself of all of the legendary facilities that this establishment has to offer, including the gymnasium and sauna complex, closely followed by the restaurants, so that I could put back all that I had lost with those physical activities.
