 very very well located. costa is next door! and oxford street a 1 min walk. hotel is neat and clean and helpful staff. internet is free, which was great as we were traveling for business.

 rooms are really really tiny. we had booked a standard double room. the spacious ones were in the basement, which was offered to us in the same price, however, as its on the lower level windows dont open. the rooms on the higher floor are only sufficient for 1 person. so we paid an upcharge of GBP 45 per night and went for a family room, which was not a great size (but i guess its central london!) but much nicer. |

| Tip for smokers: Absolutely NO SMOKING ROOMS and a GBP284 fine if you smoke in the room.
Impossible to sleep on their matress. |

| The room was much larger than usual for hotels in this pricerange. The staff was friendly. Even though rehabilitation work was going on in the lobby it didn't bother us much. |

| I am writing this on behalf of my mum who stayed with you for this trip. She was celebrating her 60th with 3 x friends and this was their first time alone in London!!. My mum was full off praise for the hotel environment, saying how clean and lovely it was. Her main praise though was for all the staff who helped the 4 of them get out and about in London, they were all equally useless at reading maps and following directions, so the staff all helped them along. She loved the chocolates in her room etc. They are planning on coming again next year!!. If you knew how unfamiliar my mum is with travel, hotels and London you would realise that your hotel made her whole weekend thoroughly enjoyable. I would also like to thank the staff for all their kindness and help shown towards this group, cos I thought at one point I would have to come along to chaperone them!! |
