I had a very positive experience with this hotel. I found the staff very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. My flight arrived early in the morning and I arrived at the hotel at about 9AM, hoping simply to store my bags until the scheduled check-in time of 2 pm; I was delighted when the desk clerk told me my room was ready and that I could check-in then. The room was very clean; the free wi-fi was reliable and quick.
The hotel is well located for access to transport, being just a block away from the train station and nearest tram stop. On the tram it is about a 5 minute ride to Place Massena or the old town; Walking, it took me around 10-15 minutes (max) Place Massena. There are also a number of restaurants and cafes near to the hotel, though certainly not at the density of the areas nearer to the beach.

| My bathroom was a little cramped, with very little clearance between the sink and the shower door: I found I needed to step out of the bathroom and into the room in order to towel off after showering. Not a problem for me, since I was traveling alone.
The area is not as nice as, say, closer to the beach; and there are few seedy aspects in the nearby area, such as an x-rated adult novelty store in the nearby block. However, in the evenings there was always a large number of people (many locals) eating outside at the cafes and lots of pedestrians, so I generally felt safe and comfortable in the area. |

Close to the "d'azur line" (Ave. Jean Médecin) which quickly and for 1 €, take you to the Massena place, which again is close to the "Mer Méditerranée". One do not have to walk to the sea each time.
