Quiet neighborhood. Oxford city center wihin walking distance (20-30 Min). Good connection to city center via public bus also available. Some colleges nearby.

A very nice hotel, big tastefull room. We stayed there only for one night and were moststisfied with everything. A cattle with tea pads and chocolate in the room. The breakfast was great!
the hairdryer was "buit in" in the plug in the wall. in the middle of drying my hair I slyghtly pulled the cable of the hairdryer and the plug came out causing the hairdryer to stop working. well, I couldn't finish my hair, but surely they already repaired that plug.

the hotel is reasonably priced and well positioned however more than 0.5 miles away from the centre of oxford as described.
the room was clean however there were exposed wires over the bed were lamps had been removed and the hole left. The linen was freshly laundered however badly stained. One would have thought that housekeeping would have noticed and not used the sheets. Staff generally seemed disinterested and unhelpful. Upon arrival we were advised that they would check to see if they had a room ready, after 20 minutes ( and having checked in two other couples ) they had made no effort to find out if a room was ready and then advised us that we would have to come back.
