Best Western Ilford Hotel

Since they are houses converted into an hotels, everything is very tight but efficient.

1. Room allocated was very small - outstretched arms could touch both walls easily. 2. Bathroom wash basin is tiny and glass shelf over is easily struck by one's head when bending over the sink. Water pools on the floor because it flows over the sides of the tiny wash basin. 3. Parking of cars outside the hotel is limited, and no attempt is made to ensure that what space is available is properly controlled. All other on-street parking risks a parking ticket between 8am and 6pm monday to saturday [single yellow line both sides of the road]. Alternate parking is in the next street and costs. 4. Breakfast - fairly bland, no [pork] bacon, ham or fresh fruit on the menu. Nice decor and cutlery and crockery though.
