Quiet location, and convenient for town centre and restaurants (15 mins walk).
Loo did not flush. Hotel maintenence man arrived shortly after reporting it, and 'fixed' the problem. Unfortunately, the 'fix' did not last, and we continued to have difficulty in getting the flush to work. We also reported to the maintenance man that we had discovered a previous guest's underpants beneath the wardrobe area, and these were quickly removed by hotel staff, with apologies.
The following morning, we found the bath did not drain after using the shower.
Although the 'public' areas of the hotel are quite smart and inviting, the rooms are rather tired and shoddy.

ARRIVED BACK AT THE HOTEL AT 11.30PM TO BE TOLD WE COULD NOT PURCHASE A DRINK FROM THE BAR UNLESS WE HAD A CREDIT CARD - WHICH WE DIDNT
