The Berkeley is located at the top of Park Street in the Clifton area of Bristol. 1/3 mile from the city centre and only a mile from Temple Meads Station. Bristol International airport is 25 minute taxi journey away.To reach the hotel

At first roundabout turn left onto A38. At first set of traffic lights turn left onto B3130. At A370 junction follow signs for city centre. Continue to follow signs for city centre on Brunel Way and then onto Hotwells road. At the Jacobs Wells roundabout, opposite SS Great Britain, continue straight on to Anchor Road past @ Bristol and keep in left hand lane. Staff very pleasant, even if not able to change an address on the bill without a manager approving - they are not on site during checkout
Only recommendation for the hotel is to visit for the art work, and reasonable price for a night in Bristol.
Door of wardrobe fell off - too heavy with mirror.
Matterses on bed like a wedge left to right.
Bed base moved side to side like it was on a kiddies playground spring.
Bathroom tired - lots of cracked and dirty tiles.
Staff smoking and talking loudly under bedroom window as it was thier 'space' - do not accept room 16.

Reception staff were not really clued up either on arrival or departure. Difficulties dealing with the check out process held things up. Neither evening or morning staff seemed to know where the M32 was or where Bristol Parkway Station was - this was a central Bristol hotel!
