The Barceló Marbella, situated in the exclusive town of Guadalmina, in the heart of the Costa del Sol, is located close to beautiful sunny beaches and exceptional leisure and entertainment facilities such as "Puerto Banús" or "La Cañada". 

Our double rooms, decorated in an Andalousian style, have a size of 28 m² and offer lounge area, telephone, satellite TV, internet access, safe, minibar, air conditioning, bathroom with tub or shower, WC, hairdryer, magnifying mirror and balcony or terrace with view to either the pool or the golf course.

  

The restaurant Mediterráneo and the à la carte restaurant Augusta offer exquisite menus and show cooking. Furthermore, you can enjoy our lobby bar and "El Hoyo 19".

 

 The hotel offers an outdoor swimming pool for adults and children, a Jacuzzi pool, a Turkish bath, massage rooms and beauty treatment services. It is embedded in a beautiful landscape with one of the largest golf courses in Europe, the 45-hole course Del Guadalmina Club de Golf, where our guests can enjoy special rates. Spacious accomodation, very nice swimming pool and gym facilities. Good parking facilities & a good selection of food in the buffet restaurant. The air conditioning worked throughout the hotel at all times thankfully, as the temperatures were high into the 30's.
 
Rooms and hotel in general could be cleaner. Staff, although very friendly, did not communicate very well in certain instances (such as the facility of having your parking ticket authenticated for free parking), some of the cooked items on the buffet counter (especially the fried eggs which were stone cold) were leaft with no under or over heated storage facility leading to potential infection risks.

We were very pleasantly surprised at the standard of the Barcelo Hotel and the junior suite allocated to us upon arrival. However, the suite did not have a balcony and, considering the high temperatures during our stay, we perceived this as a problem. On the second morning, friendly and helpful reception staff arranged for us to be moved to another junior suite with a balcony, where we thoroughly enjoyed the remainder of our stay. The deal you gave us was first-class value for money and very much appreciated.
 
Nothing negative about our stay; the hotel is four star but borders on five, as far as we were concerned.
