The hotel is in a beautiful setting with an amazing view. Only 15 minutes from the airport. The rooms were spotless and cozy. The staff was very attentive, friendly and made you feel at home. We had a nice dinner and breakfast outside on the patio. The hotel was little hard to find at first but at no fault of the hotel. Most of the things in Costa Rica are hard to find as there are not many street signs or house numbers. Overall the hotel is great and we would love to come back again.

The staff at Vista Linda Montana were very friendly and helpful. Thet got up with us at 5 AM to make sure our airport cab was there. They serve a family style meal in the evening that for a small extra charge which was good. It was fun to visit with the other guests in the evening under the stars. |

Beautiful views and pleasant staff, combined with a very affordable price.

|
No air-conditioning in the room (wasn't a big problem since it cooled down quickly at night). No soap or shampoo in the room. Only one drinking glass in a room that can accommodate 4 people. Television cable was ripped out of the wall. |

We began and ended our trip to Costa Rica the Vista Linda Montana. We could not have been more pleased with our experience! The setting is beautiful and the rooms are very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, we enjoyed drinks, dinner and breakfast with them. It was comforting to know that we had reliable transportation both to and from the airport. I highly recommend you stay at Vista Linda Montata |

Hotel is located in a nice rural area, yet is only 15 minutes from SJO. We thought it was an excellent value. Staff was friendly and helpful and provided a delicious breakfast. Optionally an evening meal is served for $10/person.

|
If you do not have a car, there is not a restaurant within walking distance. We, however, were very happy with the evening meal that we purchased at the hotel. |

Very Courteous
Should say something about distance from SanJose in city bus station. Distance was not clear to someone who does not know. |

the people are very nice and accommodating. The place is very cute and home-y.

|
the area around the hotel doesn't have much as far as walking distance and it's a bit hard to find. However, it's only a couple minute taxi drive to the city, shopping, and the airport. |

This hotel was spotlessly clean. The staff bent over backwards to make us feel at home and meet our every request. We had a very pleasant stay, the evening we arrived at the airport, and after a week touring Costa Rica we looked forward to our return visit, the night before our morning flight departed. I'll be back.

We had towels in the room but it would be nice to have a washcloth as well. |

This hotel is simple, very clean, and a good value. The owners/staff were very pleasant and helpful. I would come again!

It would be nice to have a washcloth to go with the towels. |

If I could score the friendliness and competence of the staff higher than I did, I would. They were outstanding. The breakfast was satisfyingly continental.

|
The hotel was a little difficult for me to find, but I think that is due more to Costa Rican city-planning instead of the directions online. According to the rental agent where we hired a car, there is a dangerous area about 1KM near the hotel, so if you're coming from the airport, I'd recommend asking for the shuttle. |

The food was excellent as well as the view. There was a safe place to park and the staff was very polite. The bed was very comfortable. It was easy to get in and out of traffic from the parking lot. It had a large sign that made it easy to locate. If you speak German you will love it.

|
The was an occasional manure smell when outside. The sleeping without air conditioning was more uncomfortable than I expected. The owner smokes outside only. There is significant noise during the night from wildlife so if you are a light sleeper it may bother you. |
