hotel is the train station a little further and it is difficult to navigate which way you go, as the room was sparsely furnished and the bathroom was missing my hair dryer, breakfast is administered only by 7 till 9a.m. which is quite a short interval, the room went from road noise - not plastic windows

April 2009
One of the staff members was very helpful and friendly. The wireless internet was useful. The bed was quite comfy and there was beautiful ornate furniture in places. Good for families and those with cars. Nice little garden and conservatory/bar.

The sheets didn't cover the bed. It is 45 minutes by public transport from the centre of Budapest. The majority of the staff didn't make us feel welcome, except for one lovely lady. It is most definitely not a 3 star hotel. There was no hairdryer etc. It is more like a B&B / Hostel. They asked us to pay in cash rather than by card. It is less than 5 metres from a very busy and noisy dual carriageway. The room had floodlights from the road shining into it, which the curtains did not block out. Breakfast was poor; only one type of bread (sliced) a few bits of cheese if you were there early, some hams and not very nice cereals. The brioche was nice though. A large old fridge was just deposited in our room one day when we were out with no explanation.
