The new ATLANTIC Hotel Lübeck (opening 2010) is located downtown in Lübeck’s historical Old Town. All of the city sights such as St. Mary’s, the marketplace and Town Hall, the Holsten Gate or the Hospital of the Holy Spirit are within a few minutes’ walk of here. Explore the Old Town and its some 1,800 listed buildings, narrow winding streets and alleyways, all surrounded by flowing water. There are obviously good reasons why the skyline has been declared a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. Take a boat from the pier in the immediate vicinity of the hotel to explore this old Hanseatic city from the water.

They didn´t tell me on the reception that I have to pay 14 € for a parking space.

Very central, great location, very friendly staff. Restaurant has excellent steaks, highly recommended.
 
Pool next to hotel, but open to public and not complementary for hotel guests.

Convenient and tasteful without ostentatiousness. Was present for Jan Garbarek & Hilliard Ensemble at the Dom and the Performers also staying in hotel. We eat in the restaurant for a late dinner - very impressed but did not have breakfast but if the dinner was anything to go by... :)
 
Never got to try the Sauna! No time...

everything brand new.
 
hotel empty but given room at the very end of hotel where there was banging noises at 7am where they were finishing external works
