The Astoria Boscolo First Class Hotel, which is a stone’s throw away from the Florence Cathedral and the Santa Maria Novella Station, is a magnificent example of Florentine baroque architecture. Here in the Gaddi and Arrighetti Palace, a medieval edifice of great historic and architectonic importance, John Milton wrote his masterpiece Paradise Lost.
