The hotel has 457 comfortable guest rooms of which there are 448 double rooms. The hotel has ample parking spaces for our clientele (may incur charges). The reception is manned around the clock and also offers a fail-safe wake-up service.
The hotels rules are very accommodating when it comes to travelling with pets. Valuables can be left at the reception for safekeeping. The comfortable hotel has its own safe play area for your little ones, and can also provide a cot for young children in your room (please indicate this requirement when booking).
Should you have work to do during your stay you will find a desk, internet access and a telephone in your room. Each bathroom is equipped with a blow dryer. Non-smokers can ask for special non-smoking rooms.

AHORN Berghotel Friedrichroda is located on Reinhardsberg mountain 500 m above sea level on the outskirts of the idyllic town, very close to the forest and the famous Rennsteig hiking trail.
From the 457 rooms of different categories and the panorama restaurant on the 12th floor, you have a fantastic view upon picturesque hills and valleys. The panorama restaurant and the Ludowinger Lounge serves a variety of culinary delectabilities. Our 3 restaurants welcome you to enjoy rich buffets and specialities of the famous Thuringian cuisine. Being the largest conference hotel of Thuringia, we meet the requirements of every arrangement and have enough capacity for up to 800 participants.
