The service at the hotel was exceptional. They made a special effort to make a room available to us earlier than the posted check-in time and then provided tea and coffee while we waited. Later when I needed ice for a swollen ankle, they responded immediately. We would definitely stay there again.

Watch the costs in the surrounding neighborhood for lunch or dinner...very pricey. We relied on a neighborhood grocery story behind the hotel.

VERY GOOD AND QUIET LOCATION IN OLD ZUERICH. FRIENDLY PERSONAL AT CHECK-IN DESK AND IN THE RESTAURANT. FREE BREAKFAST IS VERY GOOD AND PLENTY. THEY GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO PLEASE YOU. THIS GOES ALSO FOR HOUSE-KEEPING. THE AIRCONDITIONING IS NOT WORKING WELL.

Young, friendly staff, functional room, free WLAN access, air conditioning worked well, restaurant: food available until late (after midnight), wide range of breakfast food individually prepared. elevator access on ground floor only through the restaurant, no local parking (although it was possible to drive into the pedestrian area to load and unload)
