It is a family hotel, set in extensive gardens, with 42 fully-equipped rooms, which offers peaceful comfortable holidays both, in summer and winter. The most beautiful destinations in the Bernese Highlands are easily accessible from here by train or car. The picturesque village of Wilderswil, only 3 km from Interlaken, is the ideal starting point, at any time of the year, for excursions, hikes, sport and adventures. Excursions to the Jungfraujoch, Schilthorn or Piz Gloria, or a boat trips on the Thun and Brienz lakes are just a selection from the numerous options for a day trip. The imposing Trümmelbach waterfall, the St Beaus prehistoric caves, the Aare gorge and the open air Ballenberg museum are just a short bus or train ride away.
