Hotel „Sporthotel Waldmühle“ is the perfect starting point for hiking tours and walks to the Harz or in the beautiful city Wernigerode with its numerous points of interest.

We have 24 double rooms and one suite with two bedrooms, living room, separated bathroom and WC. Our comfortable double rooms are equipped with TV, telephone, shower and WC. An additional bed can be arranged on request.

Our hotel offers a restaurant, bowling alley and a separate room with 30 seats for events. In our restaurant we pamper you with rustic and traditional cuisine. It offers 70 seats so that even bigger groups can enjoy a relaxing get-together.

The “green heart of Germany” is the perfect location for hiker, mountain biker and biker, due to its challenging tours. You can follow Goethe’s trails or the hiking trail “Hexenstieg”, and you can visit the picturesque cities of the Harz and their art treasure.

This hotel was excellent. The reception is willing to help guests. They even started the breakfast one hour earlier just because we had to leave earlier. Thank you so much!!! A bad feeling is we received a "Kurbeilage" from the city government. Knowing it is forced by the city government, we have no complaint on the hotel, but on the government.
