You will find Hotel Zum Stern nestled in these idyllic surroundings and close to the church in Werben. Our house is steeped into family tradition and prides itself on 400 years of experience. Werben is the ideal starting point for a visit to Spreewald as well as a trip to the sprawling city of Berlin, Potsdam, Dresden and Cottbus or the Lower Lusatia region. Those of you wishing to be more active can enjoy riding a bike along the excellent 300 m long bicycle lanes.

The hotel disposes of 33 modern rooms that all come with a shower, WC, satellite TV and a telephone. There is also a cosy restaurant representing the traditional style of Spreewald. It features a big outdoor terrace.

Our property also offers you bike rental and organises boat trips as well as canoe trips. Those of you who wish something out of the ordinary can book a cooking course. The culinary academy of Spreewald for hobby cooks enjoys popularity abroad as well. Participate at events such as “Spreewalder Landparty”, ”Sauerkrautfestival” (“Sour carbage festival”), the “Spreewalder-Koch-Marathon” (“Culinary marathon of Spreewald”) or acquire the famous Gurkendiplom (“cucumber diploma”) at the Cucumber Academy of Spreewald.
