Business hours of reception: 24 hours The former estate of cavalry captain Carl von Kalckreuth is idyllically embedded in its own park, yet still close to places of cultural interest. You will feel like in the home of good friends when staying at the lovingly restored Romantik Hotel Dorotheenhof Weimar. Enjoy the magnificent location and the closeness to this classic city.
Stay in one of our 60 cosily arranged guest rooms, including 10 spacious Tiefurt rooms and 1 Schöndorf suite with private sauna. From the rooms you can enjoy a wonderful view of the soft landscape around Weimar, of the Schlosspark Tiefurt castle garden or of our herb and fruit garden.
Our Thuringian cuisine is traditional, yet light and sophisticated including own creations. The historic dishes following Francois Le Goullon, who was kitchen chef at the court of Duchess Anna Amalia, are especially recommendable.
After having spent a day full of excursions to the places of poets and philosophers, you can relax and feast to your heart’s content. The Rittmeisterstube pub provides wine and traditional rye beer. Our romantic park with sunbathing lawn, garden pavilion, barbecue terrace and herb garden is a very recreating place.
Since November 2004 a cultural fee is charged per room and night in addition to the room rate. This fee is paid to the city of Weimar (similar to a visitor’s tax).
