A WLAN internet access is at your disposal free of charge. The restaurant, which has recently been renovated in lounge style, invites you to a drink at the bar, a little snack or a dinner with family and friends. Enjoy fine specialties or typical Badenese dishes prepared by our creative kitchen team and relax in the cosy atmosphere next to our fireplace. Our Jagdzimmer and Spiegelsaal room offer space for events with up to 120 people. You should as well do not miss to have a seat in the medieval and rustic ambience of our green beer garden. The menu includes dishes that will be prepared with much devotion to detail as well as fresh draught beer. In our new wellness area, you can have a workout on a small selection of exercise machines and afterwards relax in the solarium or the relaxing area. Very friendly and helpful staff, well-equipped room/apartment, good breakfast buffet, walkable to Walldorf pedestrian area and resturants/shops. Free Wifi. Free welcome bottle of mineral water in room. They were very accomodating to my family's needs (my wife and 4-year-old son accompanied me on my trip to SAP), even upgrading us to a small apartment at no additional cost. They even have a small playroom with toys for kids in the hotel for rainy days. We would stay there again (negatives noted below are more FYI than deal-breaking problems). Note that we stayed in a newer building next to the main hotel, so I cannot comment on the regular hotel rooms.
Hotel description and photos make it appear that it is not in the center of the town (e.g., "romantic and calm atmosphere far away from the city's hustle and bustle"). In fact, it is right in the middle of Walldorf in an urban area. Parking is very limited and is mostly on-street if/when you can find it. VERY loud barking dog behind hotel made the use of the apartment's balcony impossible and getting to sleep difficult, with barking to near midnight (yes, this is the hotel's fault, as apparently it is the owner's dog).
