Right in its centre directly at the municipal Erleninsel Park you will find our historical hotel. We offer modern equipment and a comfortable stay at the city gates of Stuttgart. Right behind the hotel there is the idyllic Erleninsel Park through which the Rems River flows and which is an ideal place for recreation or fitness. The hotel offers 27 rooms, 1 suite and 1 apartment for a pleasant stay. It goes without saying that we provide modern amenities such as cable TV, phone, modem socket and desk. Shower and toilet are standard amenities. Of course you can choose between smoking and non-smoking rooms. Oversize beds, lounge areas, hair-dryer, cosmetic mirror and toiletries are other optional amenities. A visit to the town centre with its historical Old Town and many half timbered houses, the old Guild Hall and the market square arcades is always worthwhile. The Hochwachtturm Tower at the Zwinger (the area between the outer and the inner city wall) is the landmark of the city. A number of tourist routes lead right through Waiblingen such as the 511 km Württemberg Wine Route, the Remstal Route with its biking and hiking trails and a number of gastronomic and cultural routes like the 90 km Remstal Biking Trail and the German Route of Half-Timbered Monuments. |
Staff was VERY helpful. In-town location was excellent, although parking could have been a problem had we not "lucked out" and gotten one of the few parking spaces very close to the front door.
Upon entering the front door of the hotel, there was a noticable musty, mildewy smell, as if there had been water damage recently.
