Hotel Schattauer is set in the traditional holiday resort of Wagrain and is located in the heart of the Salzburg “Sport Region”, in an altitude of 850 m. The city is part of the Amadé skiing area, one of the major skiing areas in Austria.

The rooms of the four-star hotel have a comfortable design and provide tub or shower, WC, hair-dryer, safe, satellite-TV, internet access, WLAN, radio, desk and a terrace or a balcony. We shall be pleased to reserve a non-smoker room for you. Our family suite is perfectly adapted to the needs of a family with 2 children.

At our hotel guests can start into a new day with a fantastic and rich breakfast buffet. In the evening we serve a salad buffet and a 4-course dinner. Once a week we treat our guests with an Austrian buffet including warm dishes and with a dessert buffet that comprises a lot of sweet delicacies.

For ski-fun, Wagrain provides 350 km of well-maintained skiing slopes and the entire Amadè area offers a total of 860 km. The altitude of the northern part of the Alps ranges from 850 m up to 2,000 m and snow is therefore guaranteed from early December until April. After a fantastic skiing day in the fresh and sunny winter climate, you can take advantage of sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi tub.
