The three-star Hotel Görres is located in Wachtberg-Villip, a town set in the hilly Drachenfelser Ländchen landscape, 7 km from Bonn and approximately 3 km from the A565 motorway. The hotel has been family-owned for more than 90 years. A new wing was added to the building in 1997. The hotel disposes of 30 rooms (55 beds). It is popular among people visiting Bonn and the surroundings and visitors of the Cologne trade fair. All rooms are equipped in a modern way and dispose of shower, WC, phone and other amenities. The hotel’s restaurant has been a cosy meeting point for years. Guests are served plain cooking and a wide selection of mostly German dishes. Took a long time for someone to come to check us in at reception. Hotel did not advertise its resturant menu or price anywhere we could find. Hotel probably does not get many English guests so it was difficult to communicate as no one understood very little English and I speak virtually no German
