The centrally located two star hotel Barbarossa is a small familiy-run hotel. Our guests can reach us from the main station within a five minute walk or they can take the tram to the station Barbarossaplatz.

Our 14 comfortable rooms are provided with shower, toilet and TV. On request, a telephone is also available. Start into a new day with our copious breakfast buffet.

The well-known Franconian wineries Juliusspital and Bürgerspital are a stone´s throw away. The residence is located within five minutes walking distance to the hotel. The old bridge above Main River, the market square and the cathedral are reachable within approximately ten minutes. The surrounding offers three parking garages. There are also free parking spaces behind the residence.

The hotel staff and the breakfasts were very nice and overall, we enjoyed our stay.

The noise level of drinkers and young people on the street outside the hotel until approximately 4 a.m. were so loud that it was difficult to stay asleep with the sound of breaking beer bottles and screams of drunken people. Because it was necessary to keep the windows open for cooling air, the noises permeated the room and the entire area through the night.

Very good and pleasant overnight stay. Some difficult finding the entrance at night as I was unfortunately delayed. The hotel is on the 1st floor so entrance is via a lift. At night this was not well signed.

Very nice atmosphere, clean and tidy and extremely friendly/welcoming staff. I felt very much at home during my two-week stay. I would have liked to have wireless/internet access in my room.

This place was perfect for our first night in Germany. Centrally located, within easy walking distance of places of interest. Extremly helpful and friendly desk clerk.
