| The Hotel Royal, which has been family run since 1931, is situated in a quiet area in the Viennese city center - next to St. Stephens Cathedral and the shopping streets Graben, Kärnterstraße and Kohlmarkt. Due to its central location the Hotel Royal is an ideal starting point for sight-seeing tours as well theatre or opera evenings. The tastefully 87 rooms among them 41 Superior rooms and 17 Deluxe rooms, guarantee a very pleasant stay. All rooms are equipped with WC, bath or shower, direct-dial phone, mini-bar, free cable-tv, radio, safe and hairdryer as well as high-speed internet access via modem. Furthermore, we offer a business-center to our guests which is opened around the clock. All public areas are equipped with wireless-LAN. An underground station is right in front of the hotel, for cars there is a parking service in a nearby garage. Within the same building there are two Italian restaurants-the Ristorante Firenze Enoteca on the ground floor and the Settimo Cielo on the 10th floor over-looking Viennas city center. Very friendly staff, there was no problem with price (same or similar as confirmed here) and no problem with payment by card, very lucrative position of the hotel, nice soft music in elevator and floors, double door to room
