The hotel is 2 1/2 blocks down on the right.Starting point: Trans Canada Highway From the East, Highway 1 becomes Hastings Street. Head west to Bute Street and turn left. Turn right on Robson, hotel is on the right.

very large room with fantastic views. Great location for shopping. Staff don't assist at the door when you have luggage. windows and external doors in rooms are not well sound proofed.

Location was terrific. Parking was easy & we liked in/out privileges. No wine glasses in room. No magnifying mirror in bath. Lighting a bit dim in bath.

We pleasantly surprised by the cleanest of the hotel and how nice the room was. For a hotel that has been around that long it's sure been looked after.

I love the Blue Horizon and have stayed there at least 8 times (or 75% of my total trips to Vancouver) -- great location, great staff, always clean, views from every room little slow on technology (but that is not a show stopper)

got an upgrade to a room nearly as big as my flat was jetlagged so spent most of the time asleep but very comfortable so perfect for us
