The city of Zurich and its international airport are just a few minutes drive or train journey away; the local rail station is just a mere two minutes walk from the Hotel. Various sports and amenities - an indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, badminton, squash and the beautiful Greifensee are all in easy reach. Uster is a meeting point for national and international athletes: swimmers, rowers, triathletes and long-distance runners, to name just a few. Guests arriving by car can use our own parking grounds. For guests arriving by train, the walk from the station takes only a few minutes. The rooms are spacious, comfortably furnished, have Wireless Internet and offer recently renovated ensuite facilities. Start your day with a selection from our generous breakfast buffet and stop by at the shopping center that is conveniently located in the same building. The reception is open from 06.00 to 22.00. We are located in the center of Uster close to the train station; shopping mall within 5 min walking distance; near the airport and the fair-Exhibition Centre Messe Schweiz of Zurich. With the train you are in downtown Zurich within 12 minutes. The Lake of Greifensee is nearby. The hotel was totally renovated in 1992. The rooms are equipped with all in suite facilities such as shower or bath and toilet; cable TV; direct dial phone with modem access; IDD; radio; safe box and smoking or non smoking rooms. On the second floor is a vending machine with drinks and snacks. The Hotel Ochsen is a popular business hotel in Uster as well as for the regional and international clientele. The hotel is family owned by the Badertscher family for over 35 years. To make your stay comfortable is our daily goal not just for business people but for everyone. Our restaurant is well known for its creative and market fresh kitchen. You can choose between traditional Swiss dishes; Italian; French; Asian or international menus. Socializing at our bar after work or before and after dinner is also very common.
