The Hotel and guesthouse zum Gockl has been family property since 1957. At that time the “Gockl” was renowned as a big beer garden, a tavern with own butchery. In 1967 the building without cellar was knocked down and after one year a new building with bar parlour and 45 beds was created with the assistance of an architect of “Löwenbräu”. Since then, the “Gockl” has been renowned in Unterföhring. Our visitors´ book shows many VIP´s like Roberto Blanco, Maria Callas or Tony Marshall. Our hotel provides 130 beds and offers rooms for different prices. Start into a new day with our copious breakfast buffet. In sunny weather you can enjoy your breakfast on the terrace. The guests can make excursions to the floodplains in Isar, the lake in Unterföhring and the lake Feringa. You will find tennis and fitness facilities close to the hotel. |
