Our House‚ Hotel-Pension Aulon is located in the middle of the Ötztal Valley, surrounded by fields and meadows in a calm area, yet centrally-located amidst the stunning mountains of the Ötztal with its numerous glaciers.
Pension Aulon is a family-run hotel with about 20 beds, open year-round. We dispose of an own café-bistro daily ope, offering various snacks and dishes. Furthermore there is an in-house sauna which can be visited daily/daily open.
Pension Aulon is about 50 km westward from Innsbruck and easily accessible by public transport (bus stop right in front of our house, about 50 metres).
You will stay at convenient newly-furnished apartments or double rooms en-suite with an own TV-set including 150 programmes.
Daily breakfast available, in the evening you will dine at our bistro.
Innsbruck - the capital of the Tyrol
Amidst the charming Oldtown you will find Innsbruck"s greatest tourist attraction and its most characteristic landmark: The Golden Roof.
"Easy Shopping" - that"s the motto; visit the Swarovski Crystal Worlds, and the numerous shops in the Oldtown.

Journey
You arrive at the airport in Innsbruck (50 km from our house). On enquiry (Euro 35,- per family) we will personally pick you up at the airport. Alternatively you take a taxi to Innsbruck railway station (Euro 20,-) and then you go by bus to Ötztal, Haus Aulon.
There is a bus stop right in front of our house.
Tip: "Ötztal Card" (valid for three days)
Purchase the Ötztal Card for three days and the whole valley will be at your disposal. The Ötztal card includes all bus connections within the valley as well as the street to the glacier (Gletscherstraße). Furthermore it gets you admission to all swimming pools, museums, the spa and indoor-swimming pool in Sölden.
Our Cafe - Bistro in the garden
Our Café Bistro offers a daily selection of snacks and dishes such as soups, fresh salads, toasts, Viennese cutlet, chicken steak, salmon steak, pike perch, Chicken wings and for those looking for haute cuisine: prawns.
We recommend our spacious garden with its sunbathing area and the sun deck.

Dreams will come true! Extensive hiking trails up to the romantic mountain pasture with astonishing views of the Ötztaler mountain ranges! Nature becomes an event, when the mountain railway brings you high up for example to the picture trail into the fascinating world of the glaciers.

There are countless possibilities: Hiking through the blooming meadows, tours through the high mountains with a unique scenery, climbing the breath-taking rocks/WALLS, mountain biking along the rails of the Ötztal, swimming in the natural lake or in the open-air bath, skiing and snowboarding on the glacier, rafting in the Inn and in the Ötztaler Ache. Numerous events, traditional festivals and last but not least there are the popular holiday programmes of each village in the Ötztal that ensures a high vacation spirit in the valley of the legendary "Ötzi".
Stuiben cascade and Ötzi-Village

The Sutibenfall is a spectacular natural wonder for families with children. It is considered as the biggest and most beautiful cascade in the Tyrol. The waters of the Horlachbach roar down about 150 m. Especially on a hot summer day a visit is worthwhile as the sun rays will produce a beautiful rainbow. Every Wednesday evening: Walking tour with lanterns and music.
Ötzi-Village
Directly situated at the base of the cascade .
Spacious open air exhibition displaying the life of 5.000 years ago in an authentic vivid way. Open daily from May to Mid-October.
