 Tubingen is an expensive area to visit; the other hotels were more costly. I will be visiting the area again and will probably stay at the Alte Krohn. The breakfast was the same every day, BUT was definitely adequate and nutritionally based.
 Lots of street noise! Did not expect that in what looked like a neighborhood vs. city center type hotel. Rooms could use some updates: newer beds, bigger tv's. |

Staff is very friendly, bed/pillows/blankets are very good quality and comfortable. we had a triple room with 3 single beds, roomy but very simple.
bathroom very very small, the shower is so tiny that you can not even turn without touching the wall. overall feeling of the hotel is pretty outdated. |

Very clean and charming hotel, also conveniently located. The bus stop to the city center is right in front of the hotel and ride is about 10 minutes.

Nice staff and it is in a handy location from the city centre/univeristy.
Breakfast was very dull and the exact same every day. Didgy internet access. |

Friendly staff, no problems during check-in, good breakfast, even as the only guest I had a full breakfast!
WLAN does not work (range to small, no network available in my room). Even when I changed the position so that I got network coverage, I was not able to log in (login code was not correct and the lady was not able to tell me why). Floor is made of wood, so every step of every guest is heard in the whole hotel. |
